Roar Theatre

Roar Theatre was established in 2010 by Bryony Hope and Eleanor Wyld, after a vague promise to work together post-university, and a much-less-vague-promise once they had both graduated.

Roar was set up to provide a platform for emerging theatrical talent in London, especially for those attempting to establish a career in theatre. It gives young practitioners a forum in which to work with others in a similar position to themselves. The aim is to produce good, thought provoking work, with no gimmicks involved. Just thoroughly enjoyable theatre.

Roar are lucky enough to to have a free space above The Lion pub on Stoke Newington Church Street, a godsend in a city as bloody expensive as London.
